My head ....
While doing this project I have found myself again I fell I am not being confined to a box and having to follow a certain criteria that I have to produce a certain amount of work in a certain way. This project has by far been my best and my favourite, I have produced the most work out of them all and I feel I have produced the best work. I feel I have a range of different pieces that all link together. I am glad that I dropped the extreme winter sports and the 1920's as now looking at all my fabric samples this was definitely the best one and the one that I fell stonger about. I love all the textures and shapes you can create with folding some fabric. My range of samples are good as I have experimented cutting the fabric, folding the fabric, hiding things in it and many more. I went on to develop it by seeing if I could do rubbings of the initial samples onto fabric and then pleating, cutting and trapping with it. I feel that the rubbings make the fabric look dirty and it distracts you from the main attraction of the pieces the texture. Within my finals they will just be plain cream fabrics and maybe include some coloured thread when tieing it all together.
